New album by Fran Amil
“Popsía” is here, Fran Amil’s new musical project. Pop, soul, rock, funky and other rhythms mixed with the roots of Galician music. This is “Popsía”, the album with which Fran Amil wants to bring the classics of Galician lyric of all time to the youth of the 21st century. For this he uses a spirited tone of joy that surprises in many of the songs, some even traditionally so little linked to joy as “Negra sombra”. Mendiño, Rosalía de Castro, Leiras Pulpeiro, Amado Carballo, Avilés de Taramancos, Antón Tovar, Xosé María Díaz Castro, Celso Emilio Ferreiro, Afonso X O Sabio and Valle-Inclán sound brilliant and like they haven’t done so far.
